Korean Skincare + The Skin barrier
Korean skincare has had it’s moment in the spotlight lately and with good reason. Korean culture values skincare as a part of health care so they have years of research ahead of western brands who have strictly left this in the beauty sector. Their approach of protecting the integrity of the skin shapes the way they formulate their products. These formulas will support the long term success of your skin’s health and vibrancy - something most American companies lack. Of course, not all brands are created equal but all in all this skincare has really impressed me.
Western formulas focus on fix, correct, remove. Korean formulas focus on nourish, support, protect. If you’re interested in protecting the longevity and resilience of your skin, Korean skincare is the way to go.
My skin has never looked or felt better even with the lack of sleep and exhaustion that comes with the first year as a parent. The three professional brands I’ve curated and carry in my studio are Corthe, KRX, and Dermathod. I have had nothing but positive feedback from all my clients over the last two years.
